On June 29, 2020, Council 7121 received a letter announcing that the Father Seamus O’Flynn Scholarship Fund was the recipient of a bequest from the estate of Wayne and Donna Colvin.  Donna passed away Nov. 4, 2018 at age 91, followed by Wayne on Dec. 27, 2019 at age 81.  Wayne joined the Knights of Columbus on March 9, 2000, but was not active in Council 7121.

The amount of the donation is staggering - $20,000.

In the 12 year history of the Fr. Seamus Scholarship Fund, the fund has raised a total of $50,500.00, and this single contribution is equivalent to at least five years of that effort.  All Brother Knights should show this degree of charity, either in their life or afterwards.
